(Closed) Chief Executive Officer Opportunity at Babbasa
Babbasa Youth Empowerment Projects CIC is an award-winning social enterprise that empowers young people from ethnically diverse and less advantaged communities to move into work, education or business using approaches that encourage them to feel inspired, supported and ready to fulfil their ambitions.
Babbasa is based in St Pauls and works within the most ethnically diverse areas of inner-city Bristol where youth unemployment rates are double those of other parts of the city
Their vision is to create a world where all young people are inspired and able to realise their employment and enterprise ambitions, irrespective of where they live, their nationality, ethnicity, gender, race, sexuality or faith.
Their values are Imagination, Determination and Kindness and their approach is person-centred. They believe that every young person, irrespective of background, has a unique skill or talent that when explored and nurtured has potential to contribute to society in a significant way.
We are looking for an impressive and energetic leader with the full range of strategic, financial, operational, governance and people skills who can take Babbasa into its next phase of development.
Their ethos comes from a strong, value-based philosophy of providing quality services for people. We want someone who will use their entrepreneurial skills to innovate and be a sector leader.
We are seeking an exceptional communicator who will act as the public face of the CIC, supporting the Board of Trustees to deliver Babbasa’s mission and providing inclusive leadership and effective management of an exciting organisation.
This campaign is now closed, contact us to hear about similar opportunities.
NB: Both Babbasa and Moon Executive Search are equal opportunity employers and welcome Expressions of Interest from all areas of society.
Babbasa is made up of an incredible, diverse range of people. We believe in equal opportunity and prize diversity as a strength. We know that our diversity is what makes our services work for everyone, so we encourage applications from different underrepresented communities. We welcome people of all race, ethnicity, colour, ancestry, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability or any other protected status to join our team!
