In the 54 years since the SS Great Britain returned to Bristol, the SS Great Britain Trust has continued the work of the pioneering volunteers who saved the ship, transforming a rusting hulk into one of the city’s leading visitor attractions and a groundbreaking story of maritime history and conservation. For over 30 years, the South West Investment Group (SWIG) has been a leading provider of loan finance (up to £250,000) to micro and small businesses across the South West. Recognising the significant funding gap for SMEs, the organisation offers financial support often unavailable from traditional sources. SWIG utilises its own funds while also managing external funds through partnerships, for example with the Start-Up Loans Company and the British Business Bank.

The Charity works towards this by providing tailored support to those facing mental health challenges and complex needs.
