(Closed) Lilian Faithfull Care is looking for a new Chief Executive

Lilian Faithfull Care has over 75 years of experience providing care and support, covering day care, respite, residential and nursing care. The charity is expanding and requires a courageous, strategic thinker who can problem solve and lead the organisation through this period of change as their Chief Executive.

The Chief Executive role combines the strategic vision to work with the Board of Trustees to define the direction of the charity with the day-to-day management of the charity and its operations. This is a complex organisation requiring long and medium-term strategic development, including being in touch with the national and local social care agenda, alongside operational management and governance. The Charity is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and safeguarding is paramount.

The role will also require:

·         To lead the development of the strategy for the charity, and to then create operational plans to ensure implementation.

·         To provide leadership and to be responsible for the management and administration of the charity within its strategic, policy, and accountability frameworks.

·         To oversee risk and finance and ensure long-term financial planning and sustainability.

·         To work effectively with the Board of Trustees to enable it to fulfil its duties and responsibilities for the proper governance of the charity.

·         To ensure that the organisation manages external relationships in a way that promotes and enhances the image and role of the charity.
