Today we're privileged to have insights from Dan Constable.
Finance Director at Arcadis Gen, Dan was appointed to the Board of Trustees at Active Gloucestershire in 2022.
Active Gloucestershire is a charity underpinned by the belief that physical activity can have a transformative impact on the lives of people and their communities, and that being active should be normal and easy.
They look at barriers to being active and use campaigns to encourage people to try something new.
“Being from industry, becoming a charity trustee challenges me in my thought processes, approaches and how I measure success. It allows me to add value by bringing industry thinking into the charity space. It also benefits me personally, as I get to work with a fantastic, diverse group of people. It’s inspiring to see their motivation and drive and they are amazing to be around. They challenge me in my thinking so I can grow as an individual, it’s a true energy multiplier for me!”
