(Closed) Two Board Opportunities at Bristol Charities: Chair of Trustees & Chair of Assets and Finance Committee
Voluntary – unremunerated
Bristol Charities is a registered UK charity group, with the mission of improving lives through grants, housing, community projects and partnerships with other local charities and social enterprises.
It has transformed and enhanced the lives of those in need in the Bristol area for over six hundred years.
The group fulfils its objectives in several ways:
Providing excellent quality accommodation for older people with support on site in a safe community setting.
Giving to Bristol residents in need of support through our individual relief grants programme, funded by our investment holdings.
Operating a range of community transformation projects and activities financed through our grant giving funds.
They are now seeking two new board members to join their dedicated and passionate Board of Trustees, contributing to their success and working towards their ambitious and exciting five-year strategy.
For the role of Chair of Trustees, we would like to hear from individuals with existing involvement in the civic or charitable landscape around Bristol; experience of chairing meetings and events; a good understanding of the Bristol area; and the personal qualities and commitment to make a difference to the lives of those in need.
For the role of Chair of Assets & Finance Committee, we are looking for an individual with experience of finance management in a similar sized organisation, as well as a range of leadership skills that will equip them to lead this vital element of the charity.
This campaign is now closed, contact us to hear about similar opportunities.
