(Closed) Brighter Places seeks Independent Committee Members - Governance and Remuneration
This is a voluntary role, but reasonable travel will be reimbursed
The Governance & Remuneration Committee meets twice a year.
Our Client, Brighter Places, is a forward-thinking and innovative organisation which was established in 2021 through the merger of United Communities and Solon South West. Building on a proud history of social history in Bristol, their focus is to lead greater investments in existing and new homes. Brighter Places currently manage 3,300 homes in Bristol and the surrounding areas with more than 8,000 residents.
Having just secured significant funding, Brighter Places is in an ideal position to deliver their Corporate Strategy commitments; to deliver a great customer experience; to invest in our existing homes including retrofitting to improve energy efficiency; and deliver 1,000 much needed affordable homes for Bristol’s growing population. They are well on their journey to becoming a truly great place to work where they embrace diversity, equality and inclusion in everything they do.
Moon Executive Search has been appointed as Search Partner to Brighter Places to support their search for two new Independent Committee Members to join their Governance and Remuneration Committee.
For these roles, we are ideally looking for specialist skills particularly legal, governance, HR, transformation, finance and risk. The role of independent Committee Members is to support the work of the Committee and advise the Board on matters relating to that Committee’s area of responsibility, contributing specialist knowledge as appropriate. Whilst Brighter Places operates across the wider region, there is still a core focus on Bristol, and the surrounding area. As such, it would be helpful if prospective candidates understand the Bristol market or the communities in which Brighter Places operates.
