(Closed) Creative Youth Network appoints Moon Executive Search
Moon Executive Search is appointed official recruitment partner to Creative Youth Network to find their next Chair of the Board.
Creative Youth Network (CYN) is one of the largest regional youth work organisations and is renowned for the quality of its work, its impact on young lives and its ability to amplify the voices of young people to create real change. CYN plays a leadership role in bringing other organisations together to provide the best support to young people. They also have a national role helping to shape national policy and priorities.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Moon Executive Search as official recruitment partner to appoint a new Chair of the Trustee Board.
Mark Coates, Chief Executive adds:
‘“The CYN board of trustees is one of the strongest I’ve had the pleasure to work with – they provide the robust scrutiny that any charity board should but have shown willingness to take calculated risks for young people’s longer-term gain. I look forward to working with our new Chair, welcoming them to an existing high-performing team while looking forward to the fresh perspectives they will undoubtedly bring”.
Moon Executive Search is now seeking Expressions of Interest from prospective candidates with a shared passion for supporting young people’s development. It is imperative that the incoming Chair of the Trustees can offer experience of voluntary sector governance, fundraising and development opportunities, strategic development of an organisation and the ability to act in an ambassadorial, externally facing role.
Robert Nye, Interim Chair of Trustee Board, comments:
“We play a leadership role in bringing other organisations together to provide the best support to young people. We also have a national role helping to shape national policy and priorities.
It is an exciting time to take up leadership of the board for CYN. We have a transformational period ahead with ambitious plans to evolve the important work we do with young people, helping them to realise their potential. Our new Chair of Trustees will have a key role in shaping our strategy for the next five years and be a figurehead in the communities in which CYN operate.
It has been an honour and a privilege to serve as interim Chair of such a vibrant organisation and I look forward to welcoming my successor into CYN”.
Simon Quinn, Director of Search says:
“CYN is a fantastic organisation which makes a hugely positive impact on the lives of young people in the region. We are delighted to have been chosen once again to support them as they seek their new Chair of Trustees. We have no doubt this Chair opportunity will offer the successful person with a very rewarding challenge in the coming years and we look forward to talking to interested candidates”.
